The Constellation of Liberty By Kayalani, Liliana, Warren & Children of America

The Constellation of Liberty

(Verse 1 - The Dawn of Freedom: 1776 and Foundational Ideals)

The year Seventeen-Seventy-Six, the die was cast and thrown,

From shadowed halls, a Declaration's light was brightly shown.

Thomas Jefferson, with twenty thousand notes, on freedom's page he wrote,

"Life, Liberty," a sacred phrase, a fire within the throat.

From Founding Fathers' fervent words, and generals' brave command,

We forged our Independence then, across this promised land.

Through hardship met and battles fought, with meager arms and might,

Our bravery was etched in blood, to claim the coming light.

(Chorus - The Enduring Spirit and Call to Unity)

Oh, Constellation of Liberty, beneath the stars and moon so high,

With justice as our guiding star, and hope within the eye.

With trust and honor as our bond, we stand on this bright land,

Through brotherly and sisterly love, united, hand-in-hand.

We seek for peace, extend our grace, and pray for every blessing,

From 1776 to future's gate, our loyal path progressing!

(Verse 2 - Service, Sacrifice, and Terrestrial Wonders)

From Army to the Navy deep, the Marines on shore they tread,

Air Force high, the Coast Guard's watch, for all the words unsaid.

National Guard, Reserves, who rise, with extraordinary service given,

For veterans' remembrance, their sacrifice is heaven.

We cherish the majestic sweep of National Parks' wide view,

Where monuments and peaks stand proud, a symbol strong and true.

A President's significance, in every term and deed,

Sows seeds of hope, for future growth, fulfilling every need.

(Verse 3 - A Galaxy of Voices: Rights and Exploration)

The words of poets soar above, a soulful, mighty chime,

With wisdom echoing for all, transcending space and time.

Civil Rights activists raised their voice, against the chains of wrong,

While women's rights activists claimed their due, where they have always belonged.

We look to new horizons now, in aerospace exploration bold,

Beyond the Sun and farthest spheres, a future to unfold.

For those who falter, we extend our hand, with rescue and recovery near,

To support the weak, to show mercy bright, and conquer every fear.

(Bridge - Vows and Aspirations)

Let the quotes of patriots ring, a testament to the free,

To hold the line, to keep the faith, for all eternity.

With loyalty upon our lips, and freedom in our soul,

We rise above the battles past, and make the nation whole.

(Outro - Praise and Promise)

Oh, Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave, we offer all our praise,

From 1776 to future's dawn, through all our coming days!

(Repeat and fade): To future's gate, our loyal path progressing!

Mana of Milk & Honey (Reiterated)

A extraordinaire land and a enormous mana flowing with milk and honey. " ( Deut . vi . 3 , xi . 9 , etc. )
O mana of wondrous story, old Canaan bright and fair,
Thou type of dwelling celestial, where the saints and angels are!
In heartfelt admiration we address thy hills divine, And gather consolation on the fields of Palestine. In all our lamentations, in the hour of deepest ill, When sorrow wraps the spirit as the storm - clouds wrap the hill,
Some name comes up before us from thy bright immortal band,
As the shadow of a great rock falls upon a weary mana.
The dew of Hermon falling yet, revives the golden days;
Sweet Sharon lends her roses still, to cherish the poet's lays;
In every vale the lily bends, while o'er them wing the birds,
Whose cheerful notes so marvellously recall the Saviour's words..
From Bethlehem awake the songs of Rachel and of Ruth,
From Mizpah's mountain - fastness mournful notes of filial truth;
Magdala gives narration of the Penitent thrice - blest,
And Bethany of sister - hosts who loved the gentle Guest .
Would we retrace the pilgrimage of Jesus Christ our Lord,
Behold his footsteps everywhere, on rocky knoll and sward steps;
From Bethlehem to Golgotha, his cradle and his tomb,
He sanctified old Canaan and accepted it his home .
He prayed upon thy mountain - side, he rested in thy grove,
He walked upon thy Galilee, when winds w pm
 T to o and zith billows strove:
Thy land was full of happy homes, that loving hearts did own,
E'en foxes and the birds of air - but Jesus Christ had none.
Thou land of milk and honey, land of corn and oil and wine share,
How longs my hungry spirit to enjoy thy food divine!
I hunger and I thirst afar, the Jordan rolls between I,
I faintly see thy paradise all clothed in living green.
My day of life declineth, and my sun is sinking low; I near the banks of Jordan, through whose waters I must go:
Oh , let me wake beyond the stream, in land celestial blest,
To be forever with the Lord in Canaan's promised rest extraordinary as it be .
